Sunday with the Presbyterians

Wow, did I ever pick the right Sunday to visit the Presbyterians.

Who knew that they were partying this week? It seems they are celebrating 175 years of ministry. POTLUCK!! Snort, chew, snort. Oh, man, can those Presbyterian ladies cook! Nothing quite as good as Mrs. Sanford's cinnamon rolls but lots of tasty stuff just the same.

Sorry I missed out on the Chinese buffet, Pastor Sarah, but I just could not pass up the potluck.

Oh, and Pastor Paul, I got your comment about taking sermon notes after the service was already over. I don't remember much about the sermon now because I found the potluck smells quite distracting. Something about forgiving others as Christ forgives you. I'll try to listen better next time.

The service was nice, the potluck was wonderful. Plenty to eat, nice ladies who served me and kept my coffee cup full. My only problem was the broccoli salad that appeared to have *bacon* in it.

I forgive them, Lord, I forgive them.
